EXPERIENCE
I have worked with both patients and carers within Macmillan Cancer Support's counselling service, and am familiar with the impact of serious illness on individuals and their loved ones. I currently work at a local counselling charity, seeing individuals both online and face-to-face. In the past, I have also volunteered with Shout Crisis Text Service and with a local hospice befriending service. Before training as a therapist, I worked as a writer and journalist and have an interest in the emotional challenges of any creative work, particularly for the self-employed.
